Sub-processors

Anthavi is built on a small set of carefully chosen service providers. This page lists every third party that processes the content and personal information you entrust to us, and what each one handles. We update it whenever a provider is added, changed, or removed.

Amazon Web Services

• S3 — Stores every uploaded photo, video, voice recording, and written memory, plus the finished videos.
• Rekognition — Face matching, so the same person can be recognized across a story's photos and videos. This derives face-geometry data from photos and videos. (This is biometric processing; see the privacy policy for how face data is retained and destroyed.)
• EC2 + SQS — Renders the finished video and queues rendering jobs.

Vercel

• Hosting & functions — Runs the application; sees request traffic, IP addresses, and application logs.

Google Cloud

• Vertex AI — Drafts suggested captions and descriptions from uploaded media. Google does not use this data to train its models, and processing stays within the United States.

Supabase

• Auth + database — Accounts, sign-in sessions, and all structured data about stories and memories.

Stripe

• Payments — Billing identity and payment details.

Resend

• Email — Sends invitations, sign-in links, and notifications — names, email addresses, and story context.

Inngest

• Background jobs — Coordinates processing work; sees record identifiers and job metadata, not media.

Upstash

• Redis — Short-lived sign-in session state and rate-limiting counters.

OpenStreetMap Foundation

• Nominatim — Converts location coordinates embedded in a photo into a readable place name (and typed place names into map locations).

Being replaced with a commercial geocoding provider.

Modal

• Legacy rendering (standby) — An inactive earlier rendering path, still deployed. No routine customer data flows here.

Standby only; scheduled for retirement or re-confirmation.
